The School of AI and Liberal Arts (SAI) offers an enriched, cross-disciplinary pathway for Top 5% of the university's most outstanding first-year students.
Selected by invitation from each participating Faculty/School, these students follow their home degree while engaging in a common, AI-infused liberal-arts courses.
Programme Features
Home Programme: Students complete the full disciplinary curriculum required for their chosen degree.
AI Integration: Every participated programme embeds AI concepts (i.e., technical, analytical or ethical) relevant to that discipline.
Common Core Required Courses (CCR): A single, shared CCR component that brings all SAI students together in the programme.
Culminating Research: A compulsory component or equivalent capstone that demonstrates AI-enabled innovation or inquiry.
Small-Group Learning: Dedicated seminar-style classes ensure close mentorship.
Across the university, 24 undergraduate programmes from four Faculties/School have participated in this scheme, creating a unified yet flexible framework that blends deep disciplinary mastery with advanced AI literacy and ethical leadership.
